Alfred Schreuder departs Hoffenheim for Ajax

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim assistant coach Alfred Schreuder has departed the club for Ajax Amsterdam.

The 45-year-old Dutchman requested to terminate his contract with the Bundesliga club this week to endervour in his new role in Holland.

Schreuder, who worked under Julian Nagelsmann was full of praise for the young Hoffenheim coach.

“I am very grateful for all the fantastic experiences I was able to gather here at one of the best teams in the Bundesliga,” said Schreuder.

Hoffenheim have a replacement sorted, but are unwilling to reveal the name until next week.
