VfL Wolfsburg have completed the signing of Renato Steffen from FC Basel.
Transfermarkt report the fee to be around €1.75 million while the Switzerland international has signed a contract until 2021.
Steffen told the club’s website: “I am delighted about having the opportunity to play for VfL Wolfsburg. VfL boast a very positive reputation in Switzerland, not least as players such as Diego Benaglio, Ricardo Rodriguez or Timm Klose made their breakthroughs here. My goal now is to help the team as quickly as I possibly can.”
