Despite rumours circulating from France Football that Willy Sagnol is set to be Carlo Ancelotti’s assistant coach next season, the former Bayern Munich defender told SportBild it’s just that. A rumour.
“I have had no contact with Bayern Munich,” said Sagnol. However, the 40-year-old has the utmost respect for the Italian coach.
“Every young coach can learn a lot from Ancelotti, after all, he has great experience in Italy, England, France and Spain. That makes him one of the best coaches in football. He’s not only a great coach but a great person.”
