VfB Stuttgart have extended the contracts of Timo Baumgartl and Berkay Özcan until 2022 and 2021 respectively.
Sporting director Michael Reschke told the club’s website: “We are glad that two talented players such as Timo Baumgartl and Berkay Özcan have decided to extend their contracts with VfB.
“Timo Baumgratl is one of the most interesting defenders in Europe and has become an integral part of our time in recent months and years.”
Stuttgart find themselves in mid-table upon their return to the top flight, with their five wins this season all coming at home.
