Speaking in an interview with Sky Deutschland, former Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that it was Ousmane Dembélé’s dream to play for Barcelona some day – a dream that came true following his move from Dortmund this summer.
“Ousmane has always expressed the desire in the first talks that we have led, that it is his great goal and his dream to change to Barcelona. I was not in the process and do not know how and why he did it, but you have to be careful does not become too moral,” said Tuchel.
Taking part in Nikolce Noveski’s testimonial at Mainz, Tuchel was also quoted by Kicker: “Barcelona was always Ousmane Dembélé’s dream.”
