Thomas Tuchel: It’s certain the closure of the Yellow Wall will have an impact

Speaking at his press conference ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s home match against Wolfsburg, Thomas Tuchel spoke about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the closure of their ‘Yellow Wall’.

“It’s certain the closure of the Yellow Wall will have an impact. It’s one of a kind in the world. A real shame. We can’t prepare our team for this. We’re very sad it’s this way. More than 24K people will feel like they’ve done nothing wrong. We’re speaking of the same stand that was silent because of a death of a fan and the same stand that recently won an UEFA fan award.

“This would probably be the worst moment to give Aubameyang a break. It’s important Auba plays and starts and plays as long as he can. Aubameyang certainly gnawed on Benfica for a day. There should be no finger-pointing at him. He came to practice smiling yesterday.”
