Thomas Tuchel could leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer

According to BILD, Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel could leave the club in the summer after spectacularly falling out with various senior members of the board and several of his players.

The news outlet claims that Tuchel, who joined Dortmund two years ago, has fallen with various senior board members including club chairman Reinhard Rauball, CEO Hans-Joachim Watke, sporting director Michael Zorc and chief scout Sven Mislintat.

BILD also claims that the former Mainz coach has lost the trust of several of his players and has been left completely isolated at the club.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly already have shortlisted several candidates to replace Tuchel if his exit is formalized in the summer with Nice coach Lucien Favre and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone amongst top targets. The club are also keeping an eye on the situation of Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann and Huddersfield’s David Wagner.

Thomas Tuchel has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until July 2018.
