Schalke lead the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Bastian Oczipka, according to Bild. The Bundesliga club are still searching for Sead Kolasinac’s successor, whilst 28-year-old remains top priority.
Eintracht will command a fee of around €7m, according to the German outlet, which will see Oczipka earn €2.5m.
Schalke remains his desired option, whilst Oczipka’s contract expires in 2018 and so Eintracht may be willing to sell, or risk losing him on a free next season.
