Ricardo Rodriguez has completed a move to AC Milan, according to Thursday’s edition of Bild, with just an official announcement left to be made.
The Serie A club will pay around €20 million for the Switzerland international, of which €5m of the fee will come in bonuses.
A move away from Wolfsburg for Rodriguez has been in the limelight for approx. two months now, whilst unless anything drastic happens, he’ll be playing for Milan next season.
“The negotiations are continuing, it’s just that Wolfsburg were tied up in the relegation play-offs,” agent and intermediary Fabio Parisi told Radio24 via FootballItalia on Tuesday.
“The basic details are sorted out, we go forward and there’s a very good chance it’ll go through. Everyone wants to finish the move, the player wants to join Milan and Milan want to sign him.
“We just had to wait for the Wolfsburg result. I really think the move will be completed.”
The upheaval continues at Wolfsburg.
