Bundesliga newcomers VfB Stuttgart have completed the signing of Ron-Robert Zieler from Premier League side Leicester City. The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the club.
The fee, per Kicker, is believed to be around €4 million after spending just one season back in England. Zieler played just 13 games in all competitions for The Foxes.
Zieler told the club’s website: “I am pleased that the change to VfB Stuttgart worked. Discussions with the person in charge of VfB were very convincing, they worked very hard in these conversations around me. This feeling arose that something may develop when VfB while I want to help. Now it will be to get to know the team as soon as possible and a maximum introduce me.”
