English club Leeds United have completed the signing of Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Championship club. Whilst the transfer fee remains undisclosed, German reports suggest this is around €500,000.
“I’m very happy to be here, this is a huge club with so much history and tradition, it is amazing to have signed,” Wiedwald told the club’s website.
“We have been in contact for a long time and now I am here, Leeds United is a sleeping giant, it is a club with great supporters and the stadium is nearly always full, it is great to finally be here.
“My strengths are doing well in one-on-one situations and I am good with my feet, I want to play football and I am a strong player.”
