Newly promoted Bundesliga club Hannover 96 have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Pirmin Schwegler from Hoffenheim on a free transfer.
The 30 year old has signed a two year contract with the club with an option of another year in the future and will wear the number 24 shirt.
Hannover coach André Breitenreiter expressed his delight on completing a deal for the Swiss international : “I am very happy that Pirmin will be a part of our team for the upcoming season, we had good talks. I am absolutely sure that he will help us with his great experience in the Bundesliga and his leadership qualities.”
