Liverpool quoted €60 million for top target Naby Keita

According to Paul Joyce of The Times and Gianluca Di Marzio, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita is Liverpool’s top target this summer but the Merseyside club may have to pay over the odds to acquire him, with the Bundesliga club not willing to entertain offers under €60 million for the Guinea international.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the 22 year old, but RB Leipzig are under no pressure to sell the midfielder who is contracted to the club until 2020.

“We have decided that we will not sell any player from our starting line-up,” Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff told The Times.

“Ralf Rangnick [Leipzig’s sporting director] told this to our team at the end of the season. We will keep our team together and keep on developing,” Mintzlaff added.
