Kinglsey Coman: “It’s a great pleasure to return to Paris.”

Bayern Munich face Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday in the Champions League, which will see 21-year-old Kingsley Coman face his former club.

“It’s a great pleasure to return to Paris. I didn’t have the opportunity to play a lot in the stadium and the atmosphere there is something special for every Parisian,” Coman told Kicker.

“I hope we win, that’s the most important thing, whether or not I play, we will see. Of course I’d be happy to play, but what’s more important is getting the right result.”

The France international remained confident that Bayern Munich can get a result against PSG following their 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

“Better that it happened on Friday than on Wednesday. We take it as a small wake-up call, which will only make us more concentrated. It is easier to play against PSG than Wolfsburg, where we are favourites to win and our opponents sit back defensively.”
