After saying his goodbye’s to Schalke 04 on his Instagram, Junior Caicara will join Turkish club Basaksehir FK, pending a medical, the club confirmed.
“Caicara asked us to switch clubs again, as he had received a very good offer from Turkey. We granted this wish since we were able to also preserve the interests of Schalke,” says sporting director Christian Heidel.
The 27-year-old has played just three Bundesliga fixtures this season for Schalke in what is his second season in Germany.
