Julian Nagelsmann named German Coach of the Year

After leading TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from the relegation zone to the Champions League places, Julian Nagelsmann has been named German Coach of the Year by the DFB.

At just 29-years-old, this is some feat for a coach that took the role earlier than expected after Huub Stevens stepped down due to medical reasons.

Hoffenheim are proving no pushovers in the Bundesliga this season, whilst at one point they were the only remaining unbeaten side in Europe’s top leagues.

Nagelsmann has been touted as a future Bayern Munich coach but at the minute, his project is at Hoffenheim.
