With his contract up in 2019, Julian Brandt told Bild am Sonntag that he is no rush to leave Bayer Leverkusen, but talks over his future will commence in the summer, if it was up to him.
“I am very happy with Bayer, I know what I have here, we are always in good talks. If it’s up to me, summer would be the right time and I do not want to deal with this [contract] issue forever.”
Previously wanted at Bayern Munich, Brandt says he isn’t afraid of turning them down once again.
“I would not be shy to cancel Bayern Munich again!”
