Joachim Löw announces squad for Confederations Cup

Germany coach Joachim Löw has named 23-man squad ahead of the Confederations Cup in Qatar this summer.

“We have a lot of young players with huge potential. The squad has been chosen following extensive talks,” said Löw. “We are preparing ourselves for the Confederations Cup in a very professional manner.”

Goalkeepers: Bernd Leno; Marc-André ter Stegen; Kevin Trapp.

Defenders: Matthias Ginter; Jonas Hector; Benjamin Henrichs; Joshua Kimmich; Shkodran Mustafi; Marvin Plattenhardt; Antonio Rüdiger; Niklas Süle.

Midfielders: Emre Can; Diego Demme; Keren Demirbay; Leon Goretzka; Sebastian Rudy; Lars Stindl; Julian Brandt; Julian Draxler.

Forwards: Amin Younes; Timo Werner; Sandro Wagner; Leroy Sané.
