After passing his medical within the final hour of deadline day, Werder Bremen have confirmed the signing of Ishak Belfodil Standard Liège.
The 25-year-old joins the Bundesliga club on an initial one-year loan deal while their is an option to purchase, should Werder Bremen wish to exercise that.
At one point, Fulham were favourites to sign the Algerian.
