RB Leipzig are set to complete the signing of Ibrahima Konaté in the coming days, according to Kicker, after the 18-year-old met with sporting director Ralf Rangnick.
The FC Sochaux defender was shown the sights of Leipzig last week whilst he’s expected to sign a long-term deal with the Bundesliga runners-up.
This move comes after Leipzig signed promising French defender Dayot Upamecano in January.
Konaté played 12 Ligue 2 games for Sochaux last season, whilst Bild report they have beaten Olympique Lyon to the signing.
