Eintracht Frankfurt’s Guillermo Varela suspended by the club from the DFB Pokal final after the Manchester United loanee went against club orders to get a new tattoo.
As a result, Varela has had an inflammation on his right forearm, and has been sent back to Manchester United.

“This behaviour is grossly negligent and hurts the entire team,” Fredi Bobic, a board representative, told the club’s official website.
“Guillermo’s time here has ended with this action. The club can not tolerate a player resisting before such an important game the instructions of the coach and the doctors.
“We had already thought about a possible extension of the loan. This is no longer a matter, of course. Guillermo will be suspended with immediate effect, he will also receive a personal and very delicate punishment. We are forced to do so for the team due to such selfish behaviour.”
