Early on Monday morning, ESPN FC reported that Borussia Dortmund were close to signing Arsenal’s Gedion Zelalem after failing to establish himself in London.
However, Sky Deutschland reporter Stephan Schäuble said that these were false, as Borussia Dortmund hadn’t planned to bring anyone in during this window.
Whilst a cut-price fee is a possibility this month, Zelalem will be out of contract with Arsenal come the summer.
