Championship side Bristol City have beaten Ajax and Werder Bremen to the loan signing of Fabian Giefer from Stuttgart, say Sportbild.
The 26-year-old has played just 90 minutes of football this season.
Second to Ralf Fährmann, Giefer can be seen as a good signing for Bristol City, where he will join on a six-month loan deal.
