Emir Spahic could once again play for Hamburger SV after the club and player failed to agree on a settlement fee, according to Kicker, after the Bosnian had his contract terminated at the beginning of January.
Head coach Markus Gisdol no longer wants him in his side, but now Spahic wants to earn the right to participate in team training, until his contract expires in the summer.
The 36-year-old has been in touch with his lawyer, and will face a court hearing on January 31 over a settlement fee. But if they once again fail to agree, Spahic will once again be a Hamburg player.
