Douglas Costa to Juventus could be official within one week

With the arrival of Serge Gnabry at Bayern Munich, many assumed that he would be Douglas Costa’s replacement, who looks almost certain to join the Italian champions going by recent reports.

Bild reported on Monday night that Bayern Munich and Juventus had agreed a €40 million fee plus bonuses for the Brazilian, who had a lacklustre season under Carlo Ancelotti.

However, there seems to be some mix-up given that Gianluca Di Marzio has since reported that the clubs have yet to finalise a final agreement as Juventus’ primary target is Fernando Bernadeschi from Fiorentina.

Should they fail to sign the Italian, then fully expect them to go all out for Costa.

EDIT: Kicker also side with Di Marzio reporting that an agreement on fee has yet to be reached, however they also report that €40 million offer is expected, and the move could be made official before the end of this week.
