Chelsea to test Schalke’s resolve over Sead Kolasinac

Schalke’s versatile defender has been the subject of a lot of transfer speculation in the last couple of days, with Chelsea and Juventus battling it out for the Bosnian.

It all started when SportBild reported that Chelsea had made a €6 million bid for the 23-year-old.

Juventus also offered around €4 million for the player whose contract expires at end of the season. Both these offers were promptly rejected by Schalke, who want to keep Kolanisac and have offered him a new deal which so far the player has refused to sign.

Reports from Sport Witness earlier in the day suggested that Chelsea have given up on the deal whilst this may not the case, as reports from Italy suggest that the Premier League cub could go back in with an offer of around €10 million, which will surely test Schalke’s resolve, especially since his contract expires in the summer.
