Bayer Leverkusen’s managing director Michael Schade has confirmed that Tayfun Korkut will not be in charge of the club next season.
The news came following the 2-2 draw against local rivals 1. FC Köln on Saturday afternoon.
The former Kaiserslautern coach was named as Roger Schmidt’s successor until the end of season, with a view to a contract extension, which the club will no longer exercise.
