1. FC Köln’s Alexander Wehrle and Jörg Schmadtke met with Anthony Modeste in Ibiza on Saturday to discuss his future, with CSL club Tianjin Quanjian interested.
Although his future still remains uncertain, Express.de report that his departure for Cologne is almost certain however, delegates at the Bundesliga club rejected Tianjin Quanjian’s initial €25 million offer as ‘unacceptable’.
The German outlet report Modeste has accepted a three-and-a-half-year offer with the Chinese Super League club, earning €10 million net.
Although Modeste is reported to have agreed a contract with Tianjin Quanjian, Cologne have most certainly not accepted an offer.
