1. FC Köln could make a move for Borussia Dortmund and Germany international André Schürrle in January, according to Kicker.
The 26-year-old is yet to play for BVB under Peter Bosz in the Bundesliga and so could be allowed to leave on loan, should the circumstances be right.
On Monday, Köln parted ways with sporting director Jörg Schmadtke.
