Werder Bremen have just finalised the signing of 28-year-old German forward Max Kruse. Most recently at Wolfsburg, he joins Viktor Skrypnyk’s team for a fee of €6 million, swapping the bright green for a slightly darker shade.
Kruse was given the number 10 shirt, and figures to be one of the main threats next season for Bremen.
In 166 career Bundesliga games, he’s scored 42 goals and assisted 43. Kruse made just one senior appearance for Bremen, but played for the youth team before joining St. Pauli in the summer of 2009.
