New Villarreal signing Roberto Soriano has dropped a big hint regarding the future of German defender and former Sampdoria teammate Shkodran Mustafi.
Speaking to Marca following his move to Villarreal, Soriano is quoted as saying: “I came to Spain for Mustafi and now he is going.”
This claim comes in conjunction with the reports today from Ed Malyon of the Mirror, who stated that Mustafi continues to train alone while Arsenal and Valencia attempt to thrash out a deal. Further to that, the below tweet from La Onda Deportiva appears to confirm this information.
