The midfielder will join up with the club on 1st January 2017 for an undisclosed fee. On the transfer, Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann told the club’s official website: “We are delighted that Thomas has decided to come to Werder. He is a viable player who is currently captain of FC Copenhagen and therefore despite his young age, already brings a lot of experience.”
Werder boss Viktor Skrypnyk also looks forward to working with the 24-year-old, saying: “He is a player who brings a top mentality and always fully supportive of the team.”
