Veteran defender Karim Haggui has left Fortuna Düsseldorf on a free transfer, and has signed for Swiss Super League side FC Gallen.
The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal for his new club after a solitary season at the Esprit Arena.
Haggui leaves German football after a ten year stay with four clubs, helping him accumulate 76 appearances for Tunisia contributing six goals. Haggui arrived in Germany in 2006, signing for Bayer Leverkusen where he reached the final of the DFB-Pokal in 2008/09 . That year, he joined Hannover 96 making 107 appearances, scoring seven times before moving again, this time to Vfb Stuttgart in 2013 before dropping to Stuttgart II the following season.
