Former Arsenal and Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has told Bild that he would not have made Manuel Neuer the new captain.
“I would not make a goalkeeper the captain,” Lehmann told Bild.
However, the former stopper does believe that he has the qualities to succeed.
“Manuel Neuer is suitable for the office by his personality and character.”
