Klaus Allofs confirms Wolfsburg have the option to buy Philipp Wollscheid

Wolfsburg’s sporting director Klaus Allofs has confirmed to Sky Germany that the deal to bring Stoke City defender Philipp Wollscheid back to the Bundesliga is a loan deal with an option to buy.

“It is a loan deal with a purchase option.”

An official announcement should follow in due course.
