FC Schalke 04 are locked into negotiations with Premier League club Chelsea to sign 21 year old defender Kurt Zouma, per Gianluca Di Marzio.
According to the report, the negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage and the deal could be completed soon as an initial season long loan with the option to make it permanent at the end of the season.
The French international is currently recovering from a knee injury he picked up last season.
