Darmstadt 98 look set to acquire the services of Sven Schipplock, a striker at HSV, for the rest of the season, according to a report in Die Welt.
Having lost Sandro Wagner, Konstantin Rausch, Slobodan Rajkovic, Goalkeeper Christian Mathenia and coach Dirk Schuster, Darmstadt have had a fairly painful summer period. Thus far, however, the Bundesliga underdogs have not strengthened their squad. This could change in the coming week. Sven Schipplock, the HSV striker, will undergo a medical today before a loan deal is finalised.
