In an interview with RevierSport, former Wolfsburg defender Dante has shed some light on a number of different topics, such as the UEFA Europa League, FC Schalke and his coach at both Borussia Mönchengladbach and OGC Nice Lucien Favre.
“[Lucien Favre] leaves nothing to chance. He is very meticulous and detail obsessed. Without him I would never have made it this far. In Gladbach I have become better and more mature thanks to his work and his advice. I am very grateful to him.”
“I am pleased so quickly to meet again [with Schalke], but also to Naldo, a former player from Wolfsburg. I very much hope that we exchange shirts after the game. He is one of my best friends. It is a balanced group [in the Europa League]. Schalke 04 are the favourites, and we are aiming at the second place.”
