Speaking at his press conference, SC Freiburg coach Christian Streich touched on issues such as xenophobia throughout Germany following the increase in migrants.
Christian Streich on hatred of refugees: “The growing xenophobia scares me. We know it very well in Germany. The inconceivable happened here. I’m scared what has happened here in such a short time. When people have survived horrors of war and are greeted with hate … I never thought it would get here.”
The news comes after an Afghan migrant is the main suspect in the murder of a 17-year-old female.
