Bernd Leno extends Bayer Leverkusen deal

Goalkeeper Bernd Leno has extended his Bayer Leverkusen contract until the summer of 2020.

Leno has been ever present in goal for Leverkusen since joining from VfB Stuttgart in August 2011 on an initial loan deal, that was made permanent in November 2011.

Leno, a German international, became the youngest goalkeeper ever to play in the UEFA Champions League when he played for Leverkusen against Chelsea in the 2011-12 group stages of the tournament. He is also only the third goalkeeper ever in Bundesliga history to keep three clean sheets in his first three league games.
