Bayern Munich’s Jonah Kusi-Asare to remain with Fulham for duration of loan stint

Kerry Hau reports that Bayern Munich attacker Jonah Kusi-Asare will be remaining with Fulham FC for the duration of his loan stint. Some recent rumor mill chatter suggested that the 18-year-old would be recalled from his loan stint early. The Sky Germany journalist nevertheless claims that Kusi-Asare’s Premier League outfit finds itself pleased with some of his recent training performances.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva reportedly plans to give Kusi-Asare more playing time during the second half of the current campaign. The Sweden U21 international logged only 28 minutes of action during the first half of his loan spell. Bayern, meanwhile, possess other young players that they’d like to audition during the second half of the Bundesliga season.

Which new youngsters are Bayern Munich planning to audition?

Kicker Magazine correspondent Mario Krischel spent some time with the German record champions at their recent January mini-camp in Austria. Krischel reports that midfielders with some attacking prowess Felipe Chavez (18) and Guido Dello Rovere (18) made solid impressions. A-Jugend left-backs Deniz Ofli (18) and Maycon Douglas Cardozo (17) may make first team appearances soon. 

After recently making his Bundesliga debut just prior to the winter break, Cassiano Kiala (16) finds himself poised to make the jump from the Bayern Campus. Defensive midfielder David Santos (18) demonstrates remarkable composure when moving both forward and backward with the ball. Like Kiala, Santos might earn a spot in FCB head coach Vincent Kompany’s match-day selection.
