Kicker reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are in the final stages of finding their replacement for Dino Toppmöller.
Negotiations with a candidate are said to be in the final stages, and they could be presented before die Adler’s next Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen.
As things stand, Dennis Schmitt and Alexander Meier will be in charge of Frankfurt’s final Champions League game on Wednesday at home to Tottenham.
Who will be Frankfurt’s new head coach?
Two head coaches from Scandinavia, Jacob Neestrup and Kjetil Knutsen, have been mentioned beforehand. While it is looking increasingly likely that Marco Rose is not the head coach of choice, as if he was, it would be feasible to suggest that he would have already been announced as Dino Toppmöller’s replacement, while the former Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig head coach also has doubts about the role.
Another possibility is that Markus Krösche has managed to work in secret and the new head coach has not been named in the public.
