Felix Passlack’s reported on permanent transfer to Hibs has been officially confirmed. Financial terms of the transfer were not divulged. Passlack spent a season on loan at Norwich City, but made only one appearance in the EFL Championship.

Statements on Felix Passlack’s move

Felix Passlack has honestly earned his place in the squad over the years and has always put himself at the service of the team,” former Bochum striker and current club licensing director Simon Zoller noted in a club statement. “He has taken on responsibility, regardless of his role, in training and on matchdays. That is one of the reasons why we have now agreed to his request for a change.

“The discussions were always respectful on both sides,” Zoller continued. “There were clear words on equal terms, without pressure and without any distractions. That speaks for Felix’s character and his understanding of the processes in professional football.”

We are very pleased to welcome a player of Felix’s quality and experience to our club,” Hibs head coach David Gray added. “Felix is a tenacious, attacking player who can be used all over the right side. He has an excellent track record – having played at a very high level – and will be a strong addition to the squad.

“It was a great pleasure to play for VfL Bochum,” Passlack himself said. “Playing in front of the fans at the Ruhrstadion and giving my all on the pitch was something special.”
