Dream club calling: Nnamdi Collins intends to leave Eintracht Frankfurt this summer for the Premier League

As reported by Sky Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt may have to plan without defender Nnamdi Collins next season after the player has desired to play for his dream club, Liverpool.

The 22-year-old defender is finding his form once again under new head coach Albert Riera. Often played a right full-back, Collins played left-back in Frankfurt’s 2-0 win over SC Frieburg on matchday 24 – a tactic which suited both Collins and Frankfurt.

Taking The Next Step

The German international’s recent performances have attracted the interest of several top clubs in Europe. As per reports, Collins is planning on taking the next step in his career this summer and intends to leave to join a bigger club.

Last year, Collins explained: “I simply think the Premier League is fantastic, especially Liverpool. You should always set yourself high goals; that’s why we all started playing football.”

This dream could soon become a reality. One of the clubs that has been monitoring Collins in recent months is Liverpool, whose representatives recently watched him live in the Bundesliga.

The other clubs looking at the progress of the 22-year-old defender include Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Brighton, and Brentford.

Frankfurt’s Markus Krösche aims to get at least €40m for Collins.
