After 17 years at Hoffenheim, Dennis Geiger happy to receive new chance
“I’m very happy to be here,” Geiger noted in his initial statement on Hoffenheim’s website. “I can’t wait to get to know the people at the club and the fans and learn more about the city. [Lutz Pfannenstiel] made it clear to me how much Aberdeen wanted me here, so the decision was easy. It’s a chance for a fresh start and a chance to get out of my ‘comfort zone’.“
“Dennis is a true product of TSG’s youth academy and has been an integral part of the professional team for years,” TSG sporting director Andreas Shicker added. “He has developed from an academy player to a Bundesliga professional with us and is therefore a good example of the TSG way. The aim of the loan is for him to get playing time in Scotland and find his rhythm again.“
