Eintracht Frankfurt transfer bust Aurelio Buta’s move to FC Copenhagen has been officially confirmed. Get German Football News‘ reportage on the transfer yesterday noted that the exact details of Buta’s move remained unclear. Details are now available.

Buta’s Bundesliga outfit have opted to terminate the 28-year-old’s expiring contract prematurely in order to facilitate the move up north on a free transfer. The Danish capital city club have decided to only sign Buta to a short-term five-month deal. 

Statements on Buta’s transfer 

Aurelio was always a reliable team player for us and showed great professionalism in his commitment to the team,” SGE sporting director Timmo Hardung noted in a club statement. “With this in mind, we have acceded to his request for a new sporting challenge.

Both the club and the city [Copenhagen] are well known throughout Europe,” Buta added in his own FCK statement. “I’ve heard so many good things about this place.
