Buta’s Bundesliga outfit have opted to terminate the 28-year-old’s expiring contract prematurely in order to facilitate the move up north on a free transfer. The Danish capital city club have decided to only sign Buta to a short-term five-month deal.

“Aurelio was always a reliable team player for us and showed great professionalism in his commitment to the team,” SGE sporting director Timmo Hardung noted in a club statement. “With this in mind, we have acceded to his request for a new sporting challenge.“
“Both the club and the city [Copenhagen] are well known throughout Europe,” Buta added in his own FCK statement. “I’ve heard so many good things about this place.“
