VfB Stuttgart on the verge of signing Noah Darvich from Barcelona

Sky Germany reports that VfB Stuttgart are on the verge of signing Noah Darvich from Barcelona, with the deal nearing completion.

Darvich was with the Germany under-19s at the Euros, where they were eliminated by Spain after losing 6-5. The 18-year-old will now return to Germany after joining La Masia from Freiburg in 2023.

The attacking midfielder was one of Stuttgart’s number one priorities, and he is expected to sign a contract at the MHP Arena until 2029. The deal will not include a release clause, as well as a buy-back option or matching rights for Barcelona.

However, despite signing Darvich, it is not ruled out that Stuttgart will look for a more established player who can act as an immediate replacement for Enzo Millot, whose future is uncertain.

Stuttgart continue to show how they are now one of the best teams for developing players in Germany. The progress of Nick Woltemade backs this up, while Finn Jeltsch, who also has high potential, moved to Swabia in the winter from Nürnberg.

Under Sebastian Hoeneß, Stuttgart remain not only a fun team to watch, but also an interesting project.
