Six clubs in the Bundesliga are looking to sign Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani, according to Bild.
Asllani is currently on loan at second division side Elversberg who have recently secured a place in the play-offs to potentially gain promotion to the Bundesliga.
The 22-year-old has been a crucial part of the Elversberg team by scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists.
Borussia Monchengladbach, Werder Bremen, Freiburg and Stuttgart are interested in the player and back in the winter, Union Berlin and Cologne contacted Hoffenheim to enquire about his future.
Clubs across Europe are also reportedly showing an interest such as Lille, Sporting Lisbon, Fenerbahçe and Anderlecht.
Despite several clubs being interested in securing the signature of Asllani, Hoffenehim manager Andreas Schicker has expressed his desire to keep the player for the long-term future.
“The fact is that Fisnik is our player. If he returns now in the summer, he will have a contract until June 2026. Of course, we have already had talks. We will try to extend with him.”
Elversberg will take on Heidenheim in the first leg of the play offs on Thursday evening which will then be followed by the second leg on Monday.
