Sky Germany reports that Marco Rose is a candidate to replace Erik ten Hag as Bayer Leverkusen head coach.
Earlier today, ten Hag was sacked as head coach after a poor start. Now, the search for a new head coach has begun for die Werkself.
Leverkusen are said to have been interested in Rose becoming head coach. However, it is unclear if Rose has shown any interest in becoming the new Leverkusen coach.
Rose has been out of a job since being sacked by RB Leipzig earlier this year. Rose has also managed Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
Other names that have been mentioned by Fussball Transfers, former Borussia Dortmund head coach Edin Terzic. There have reportedly already been talks about Terzic potentially replacing ten Hag. While talks have also been held with former Barcelona head coach Xavi.
Al-Ahli head coach Matthias Jaissle is said not to be a candidate for Leverkusen.
