Luis Diaz is Bayern Munich’s top priority for the left-wing

Kicker reports that Luis Diaz is Bayern Munich’s top priority for the left wing, and other names recently mentioned are not topics.

Earlier this week, Bayern had a bid for the 28-year-old worth €67.5m rejected by Liverpool, who still deem Diaz as an important player.

The Bundesliga side sees the Colombian as their ideal left-winger, not only due to his footballing ability but also due to his regular availability and great fitness. Whilst Diaz is also versatile and is able to play as either a winger or as a striker, as he did last season for Liverpool.

Other names that have been linked to the Rekordmeister in recent weeks, such as Leandro Trossard and Rodrygo, are out of the question, especially the latter, who plays in the same position as Michael Olise. Bayern intend to use Lennart Karl as the backup for the Frenchman this season.

The likes of Xavi Simons and Christopher Nkunku have also been linked to Bayern lately, but as of right now, they are not a topic.

Die Rekordmeister will also face a tough challenge when it comes to trying to complete a move for Nick Woltemade. They have once again had a bid worth €55m rejected by VfB Stuttgart, who will not let the forward leave for less than €80m, while Bayern do not wish to pay that much.
